Summer internship deadlines are typically in February and March so it pays to starting searching in November and December (it's a great winter break activity!). NSF's Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program CIC Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) Studying Abroad Studying abroad was one of the best things I did in college. There are many scholarships and financial aid available. Don't rule it out! If you're interested at all in studying abroad, the first thing you should do is attend an information session with the UIC Study Abroad Office.
