If you have any questions about Pride or what we're about, email us and we will be happy to
answer!
Meetings
PRIDE's meetings are set for mondays at 1:00 PM in room 183. The most convenient place for us is the GSC's Rainbow
Resource Room (BSB 181),
or the meeting room next door (183). We try to send out notices about scheduled meetings and
meeting
changes on the listserv, but if you have any questions, feel free to email pride@uic.edu
Rainbow Resource
You will almost always find one (or many) of us in the Rainbow Resource Room/Library. Stop by and say hi! (And you'll get to see
the cool rainbow wall! And if you're lucky, you'll get a button. Or a sticker. Or a cookie.)
And oh yeah, it is called the Rainbow Resource Room for a reason...
it has resources! Provided by the Gender and Sexuality Center , the Rainbow Room
offers quite a few books and movies for checkout, and
also has a few computers and a couple comfy couches. Most importantly, it
has people. Other people you can identify with are probably some of the
best resources anyone can offer.

Networking
Pride is always open to ideas from other GLBT groups on other college campuses and in other cities. Networking with other groups can be an important step in spreading the message of diversity, and can result in some really fun events!
If you represent another university or other GLBT group and would like to learn more about networking with Pride, feel free to contact our OUTreach Chair (pun intended), Leigh Hellman at jawriter@att.net
